Welcome to CrimeTexts.com, a subscription-based service provided by Revica.io, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By subscribing to and using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

1. Service Overview
CrimeTexts.com provides subscribers with interactive true crime stories delivered via SMS text messages. Subscribers receive 12 stories per month (3 per week) for a recurring monthly fee of $12 plus applicable sales tax.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe to CrimeTexts.com. By subscribing, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Subscription Terms

a. Payment and Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly at $12 per month.
Payments are processed automatically on the same date each month using the payment method provided during sign-up. If a payment fails, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your subscription until the issue is resolved.

b. Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless canceled before the renewal date.
By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring payments until you cancel your subscription.

c. Non-Refundable Fees
All subscription fees are non-refundable, including partial months if you cancel mid-cycle.

d. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account on our website or contacting customer support at support@crimetexts.com.
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

4. Outbound Text Messaging and SMS Compliance

a. Consent to Receive Text Messages
By subscribing to CrimeTexts.com, you consent to receive text messages from us at the phone number provided during registration. These messages include interactive stories, promotional updates, and service-related notifications.

b. Express Written Consent
We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and other applicable laws governing SMS messaging. By subscribing, you provide express written consent to receive automated text messages from us.

c. Message Frequency and Costs
Subscribers will receive up to 24 text messages per month (1 with the crime story, 1 with the criminal reveal equaling 12 complete crime stories per month) as part of their subscription plan.
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier’s terms.

d. Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message we send. After opting out, you will no longer receive text messages but will still have access to your account until the end of the billing cycle.

e. Disclaimer for Message Delivery
We are not responsible for delays or failures in message delivery caused by network issues or carrier restrictions.

5. Restrictions on Use
Subscribers may not:

6. Intellectual Property Rights
All content delivered through CrimeTexts.com is owned by Revica.io, LLC and is protected under copyright laws. Subscribers are granted a limited license to access and interact with the content solely for personal use.

7. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your subscription if:
You violate these Terms. Payments are declined or remain unpaid after multiple attempts.
We discontinue the service for any reason (in such cases, prorated refunds may be issued).

The stories provided by CrimeTexts.com are fictional and intended for entertainment purposes only. They do not depict real crimes or individuals unless explicitly stated otherwise.

b. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for any damages resulting from your use of our services.
Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount paid by you in the past three months.
We are not liable, and you accept responsibility for any or all legal fees that may occur with both your counsel and ours if an issue arises out of your use of our service.
